What to expect
Walking into a church for the first time — or the first time in a long time — can feel like a lot. Here’s everything you need to know, so Sunday morning holds no surprises.
When you arrive.
Worship begins at 9:00 AM and lasts about an hour. We’ve made arriving as easy as possible: there’s ample parking for everyone, including clearly marked accessible spaces closer to the front door. As soon as you walk through the glass doors, someone at the Welcome Table will greet you, hand you everything you need to follow along, and help you get settled. There are no assigned seats — sit anywhere you’d like!
Communion.
We celebrate Holy Communion on the first and third Sundays of the month, and weekly during festival seasons. All baptized Christians are welcome at the Lord’s table; if you’d rather not commune, you’re welcome to come forward for a blessing or simply remain seated — no one will single you out.
Kids are welcome — wiggles and all.
Children belong in worship here, and no one will mind a little noise. Sunday School for youth runs at the same time as the service, so kids can head to their own age-appropriate time of learning and fun.
What to wear.
Come as you are — truly. On any given Sunday you’ll see everything from Sunday best to jeans.
Nobody will put you on the spot.
You won’t be asked to stand, introduce yourself, or give anything. The offering is for our members and friends — as our guest, please let the plate pass by.
