A gradute of Millersville University with a Bachelor’s in Secondary Education and the Urban Education Program, Mike joined our staff in 2012 as Director with decades of experience working with youth.
When not administrating the childcare center, he enjoys time with his wife, Beverly and dog, Indy. Mike and Beverly are foster parents and in his spare time spends many volunteer hours in the community and youth theatric projects. He also enjoys travel, the Phillies and Disney.

The community of Christ Mertz Lutheran Church prioritizes always reaching out to our surrounding community. With its faith in Jesus Christ, a helping hand to those in need, and being part of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, we are able to help beyond our borders. We continue to look forward and pray that God blesses our efforts and uses us to proclaim the Good News. Just as those settlers, our ancestors strived to do so many years ago.
