From Wilderness to Glory

Find Renewal and Reflection this Lent
Brandywine Area Church’s Midweek Gatherings
As the season of Lent approaches, the churches of the Brandywine Area invite the community to join us for a series of thoughtful and uplifting midweek gatherings designed to foster spiritual growth and reflection. Beginning March 12th and continuing each Wednesday through April 16th, we will gather at 7:00PM in different church locations throughout Fleetwood/Mertztown/Topton area for an evening of prayer, scripture reflection, hymnody, and discussion.
This year’s Lenten theme, “From Wilderness to Glory,” will guide our journey as we explore the stories of Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection by exploring various aspects of Jesus’ character and mission, ultimately aiming to foster a deeper understanding of faith, compassion, and the transformative power of Jesus’ life and message. Each gathering will offer a space for quiet reflection, communal prayer, and meaningful conversation, allowing participants to deepen their connection with God and one another.
These gatherings are open to all, regardless of background or church affiliation. Whether you are seeking a deeper understanding of your faith, a moment of peace in a busy week, or simply a supportive community, you are welcome here.
The Lenten gatherings will take place each Wednesday at 7:00PM with the following themes and locations:
- March 12 – Christ Mertz Lutheran Church, Dryville (Fleetwood address)
- March 19 – St. Peter’s UCC, Topton
- March 26 – St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Mertztown
