Here’s a simple way to make a real difference for your neighbors in Berks County: show up with stuff.
On Saturday, June 7, Opportunity House is bringing their truck to Christ Mertz Lutheran Church from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. We’re collecting furniture, clothing, and household items to help families get back on their feet — and canned goods, cereal, beans, and juice to help put food on the table.
Accepted Items:
- Furniture
- Clothing
- Household Items
- Canned goods
- Cereal
- Juice
Exclusions are:
- Electronics
- Baby furniture
- Car seats.
They will not take those items.
You probably have more than you need. Someone else needs exactly what you’ve got.
Drop it off. Fill the truck. Feed some neighbors.
