Good morning, and welcome to Christ Mertz Lutheran Church. We are delighted to have you join us for Sunday Morning Worship.
Are you hoping for something from this new year? Many of us are. Some want to lose weight, eat better, move with more intention. Some long for steadier financial ground. Some are just sick and tired or feeling sick and tired. Whatever shape your hope takes, know this: God is with us. Through the good, the bad, the indifferent — through the whole messy, beautiful sweep of it — the fullness of God goes with us. So keep your eyes open this new year. Because maybe, just maybe, when we watch for God working in our lives, everything else comes into focus. Our scattered hopes find their center. What we long for begins to align with what God has always been hoping for us.
