First Sunday of Advent

And so it begins, a new church season. The season of Advent begins in the year of Matthew. This specific gospel perspective will make specific connections to the Old Testament to provide the context for who Jesus is; the prophetic fulfillment of God’s Messiah. We begin this year with a reminder that we can expect and should anticipate that what God says God will make happen WILL indeed occur.
