Almost 80 Thanksgiving Boxes Given to Friend, Inc and families from the Brandywine Heights School District

Although many were already premade, thanks to the work of The Brandywine/Topton churches, 73 Thanksgiving boxes will go out to families in need this Thanksgiving.

Twenty-one (21) boxes will go to families in the Brandywine Heights School District who have been identified as ones locally, in our midst, that could use them. Fifty-two (52) boxes will go to Friend, Inc. as a way of assisting regionally with families in need. Thank you to everyone who contributed food, went shopping, got Thrivent Action Grants, as well as those who spent the afternoon putting together boxes, decorating them, and packing them. EVERYONE made this happen!! And to the youth of our churches who volunteered their time, THANK YOU!
